Terms of Service

Welcome to JobZot! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the JobZot job search management platform ("Service") operated by JobZot ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, then you may not access the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account and using our Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

JobZot provides a comprehensive job search management platform that helps users organize and track their career opportunities. Our Service includes features for:

  • Managing job opportunities and application tracking
  • Organizing professional contacts and networks
  • Storing and managing job-related documents
  • Creating reusable content snippets for applications
  • AI-powered document processing and summarization

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time without notice.

You must be at least 16 years old to use our Service. By agreeing to these Terms, you represent and warrant that you are at least 16 years of age.

If you provide us with any feedback or suggestions regarding the Service, you grant us the right to use such feedback without restriction or compensation to you.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to our collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Subscription and Payment

7.1 Free and Paid Services

We may offer both free and paid subscription plans. The features available to you depend on your subscription level. We reserve the right to modify our pricing and subscription plans at any time.

Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by us. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party services. You acknowledge and agree that we shall not be liable for any damage or loss caused by your use of any third-party services.

9. Disclaimers

9.1 Service Availability

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Service's reliability, accuracy, or availability.

9.2 No Employment Guarantee

JobZot is a job search management tool. We do not guarantee employment outcomes, interview opportunities, or job placements. We are not responsible for any employment decisions made by third parties or the accuracy of job listings on external sites.

9.3 AI-Generated Content

Our Service uses AI to process and summarize documents. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated content before use.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JOBZOT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

  • Your use or inability to use the Service
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
  • Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service
  • Any bugs, viruses, or the like that may be transmitted through the Service by any third party
  • Any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of your use of any content

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE LIABILITY OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless JobZot, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with:

  • Your access to or use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Any User Content you post or share through the Service

12. Termination

12.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

12.2 Termination by Us

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

12.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, all provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

13.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13.2 Arbitration

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall be conducted in Delaware, and judgment on the award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction.

13.3 Class Action Waiver

You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.

14. General Provisions

14.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and JobZot regarding the use of the Service and supersede any prior agreements.

14.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

14.3 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not be considered a waiver of those rights or provisions.

14.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights under them without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights under these Terms without restriction.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on our Service prior to the changes taking effect. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
